Pre-Authorisation Visits

We run IBDP pre-authorization days for senior management, staff and other interested stakeholders (e.g. students, parents and governors). Among the topics covered are the following:

  • The IBDP Programme: history & mission; international-mindedness; subjects / groups; special features (Theory of Knowledge, CAS programme, extended essay); distribution requirements & concentrations; assessment; university recognition.
  • Implementation: authorisation; staffing; training; materials; student recruitment; timetabling; managing coexistence of IBDP with national programme.
  • Costs: pre-implementation; IBDP fees; non-IBDP annual costs.
